Floor Epoxy Coating High-Performance
Floor Epoxy Coating TECHNO COATING™ is a two-part, 100% solid (VOC free), low odor, epoxy coating with a clear and glossy finish. Moreover, it produces a durable and easy to clean finish on interior surfaces such as concrete floors and more. Also ideal for commercial or residential applications. Hence, this coating is waterproof, with good chemical and abrasion resistance and excellent resistance to UV radiation. Hence, Floor Epoxy Coating Prime TECHNO COATING™ is self-priming and can also be used as an aesthetic coating in an office building. Additionally, it can be used in combination with our CHILL DROPS™ pigments (opaque or transparent) to create amazing colors or special effects.

Surface Preparation:
Hence, before applying the Floor Epoxy Coating Prime TECHNO COATING™, the surface should be intact, clean, dry, and free of any contaminant. We also recommend removing sand, dust, dirt, grease, wax, silicone, and glue, affecting the bonding of the coating to the concrete surface.
Concrete: Mechanical or chemical preparation (muriatic acid). It is essential to remove existing coatings before applying TECHNO COATING™. The minimum age of concrete surfaces before the application is 28 days, depending on curing and drying conditions.
Important: Moisture content of all concrete substrates must be no greater than ~4%. This moisture content can be measured with a calibrated moisture meter. We recommend applying TECHNO COATING early in the morning or late in the afternoon so that the concrete floor is not too warm. Do not apply on porous surfaces where moisture vapor transmission will occur during application.
Limitations: It is best installed by skilled and experienced applicators. We strongly recommend validating your application by testing a 12 x 12-inch area before launching production.
Cleaning Procedures: Collect and contain spills with an absorbent product. Discard by applicable regulations. Once hardened, the product can only be removed mechanically—clean tools and brushes with POLYMÈRES TECHNOLOGIES POLY CLEANER™.
Ambient And Substrate Temperatures: To apply TECHNO COATING™, we recommend an ambient temperature of 22°C (72°F), relative humidity less than 70% and both TECHNO COATING parts (A/B) at a temperature of 22°C (72°F). At lower temperatures, curing times will be extended.
Mixing Procedure Of Parts A/B:
Pour the Part B container (small one) into the part A container (large one). DO NOT hand mix the TECHNO COATING™ A/B parts resin materials; mechanically mix with a drill and jiffy mixer only. Mix thoroughly for a minimum of 10 minutes, making sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the container regularly. Use a 2-inch metal spatula to scrape the sides and move the resin towards the center of the container. When done, please do not leave the resin in the container, pour it onto the floor, and use a roller or a straight/notched squeegee to spread TECHNO COATING. We recommend applying the first coat (thickness of~0.010 of an inch) as a sealer and a thickness of 0.015 inches for the topcoat.
