To use P-TEC 8400™, both parts of the product must be thoroughly mixed according to the mixing ratio indicated on the Technical Data Sheet (TDS). Before use, make sure the surface is free of dust, grease, or pollution. During processing, the pot life and time before sanding may vary depending on the ambient temperature. The exothermic reaction that will develop during hardening varies with the thickness of product applied, up to a maximal value of 79ºC (174ºF).

When using P-TEC 8400™, it is important to test the compatibility between the putty and the primer before painting. P-TEC 8400™ can be finished with any type of VOC FREE or LOW VOC finishing product, and can also be painted and stained.
